Transformation Center

We have the house…

2010-108

Now that the purchase is complete we are restoring the big house as funds are provided. Currently we are between 25 and 30 percent complete. The house still needs work, a lot of work, to restore it to full potential. However, the basic structure of the buildings are concrete and steel, it is very solid giving us a great frame and foundation to build on. We need to do electrical, plumbing, flooring, and finishing of the many rooms. Some of the plumbing needs to be redesigned.

We see the Transformation Center being used as a House of Prayer, a Training Center for disciples of Jesus and ministry workers. Our main goal has always been to be a rescue center for orphans and street children. The design will make an excellent children’s home. There are large rooms that can be used for classes and gatherings. There are many bathrooms and bedrooms. It has two floors and three in some places. It has a lot of windows for natural lighting. It is located next to a small town; with ocean beach resorts. It is a quiet place with many farms in the area and not far from a national park which is a beautiful rain forest.

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. (Psalms 68:5) We are God’s holy habitation that means He wants to use us to help the fatherless and widows. The kids we rescue from the streets are fatherless, they either do not have a father or their father does not take care of them and provide for them, for whatever reasons. When we get to know the kids we learn that each one is unique and has their own sad story about how they ended up living on the street. However they got there, they are kids in need of our help and your help. Each one is created in the image of God and has great potential and hidden talents and gifts. Each one is a diamond in the rough and precious in the sight of God. When we look through His eyes we can see how precious they are and we can feel the compassion of the Fathers’ love for each one.

Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. (Psalms 41:1-3)

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. (Isaiah 58:6-8 NKJV)
